How to Help
Main Street Enid appreciates any help you are able to give, whether it is your time or a monetary donation.
Current Fundraiser:
Become a Stakeholder!
Just as our ancestors drove stakes into the unbroken sod of the Cherokee [Outlet] Strip to stake their claim, you have an opportunity to help insure that The Square and our downtown business district continue to improve and thrive by making a $100 contribution. Cherokee Strip Days are right around the corner. This is the time of year when we recall our shared heritage and reflect upon the sacrifices our forefathers and mothers made to establish this community and sustain its vital place as a leading community in the State of Oklahoma.
This year, Main Street Enid applied for, and has been approved to receive, a $10,000 challenge grant from Park Avenue Thrift, Enid’s Own Community Thrift Store! We are inviting you to invest $100 each to qualify us to receive this challenge grant. This campaign, coupled with the challenge grant from Park Avenue Thrift, will produce an additional $20,000 for Main Street Enid this fiscal year. Your gift will identify you as one of our valued Stakeholders in our continuing mission of making our downtown business district the best it can be. We hope you deem our efforts worthy of your gift.
The names of our 100 Stakeholders will be prominently listed in a Sunday newspaper ad, listed on this website and you will be invited to a reception honoring all our Stakeholders. Several of our Founding Stakeholders have underwritten the expense of this campaign (direct mailing, Sunday newspaper ad and reception). A successful campaign will infuse $20,000 in new money directly into our program!
