Junior Main Street
Main Street Enid is excited to announce the beginning of the Junior Main Street Program!
This new program will empower young people to participate in positive community-building projects, learn how to make decisions as a group, create a project, plan how to accomplish the project and make a difference in downtown Enid! The possibilities are only limited by their imaginations, as long as it fits within the Main Street mission.
We will kick off with a retreat on June 24-25, 1 - 4 pm, at the Main Street Enid office and a few locations downtown within walking distance. Then we will begin scheduled meetings 2-4 times/month, also at the Main Street office.
There is no cost to be part of this program. We only ask that you provide transportation to and from the retreat and the meetings and that you offer your child positive encouragement in the program.
The Junior Main Street Program is open to youth going into 6th - 8th grade with at least one parent who (any of the following):
- works within the downtown Enid district
- works for a Member of Main Street Enid
- is a volunteer, committee or board member of Main Street Enid
