Leonardo's Children's Museum
Outdoor Playground-Adventure Quest
Adventure Quest is Leonardo’s outdoor science playground!
It took 12,000 volunteers (one-fourth of Enid’s population at the time) more that 150,000 volunteer hours before the playground opened in September, 1996.
The three-story wooden castle features bridges, slides, swings, mazes, a water table, dinosaur dig, and tot lot designed to spark the imagination of the young and young at heart. Today, it remains the world’s largest community built outdoor playground and a visible reminder of what Enid can accomplish when we all work together.
We are a hands on children's museum with an emphasis on arts and science. There are lots of fun things to do at Leonardo's such as our Tinkering Exhibit, animals, art studio, Fire Safety Center, Dinosaur Play & Fossil Dig, Renaissance Marketplace, racing ball tracks, science area, Silage Beach and Tot Lot! We also have a Pottery Lab and mini theater dress up area!
Camps, Classes and Special Events for children and their family
We offer a variety of fun classes, camps, and events for children at the museum such as Spring Break Camp, Summer Camp, Science Club, Tools for Home School, Princess Ball (a dance especially for fathers and daughters) Mom & Me Masquerade (an event designated for moms and their sons) and many more!
