Join us on Friday, April 3rd for Free Art Friday!
While enjoying all the First Friday Events, pick up some free local art!
This year is our 3rd annual Free Art Friday. This project helps promote the Arts in Enid and surrounding areas.
We’re looking for local artists, freelancers and craftsmen of all mediums to donate between 1 and 4 original pieces of work on provided flat wood rectangles. These will then be placed all over downtown Enid in random outdoor locations and are free for the taking by the first person who finds them during First Friday activities of April 3, 2015.
We will provide the wood rectangle for each artist to create on or with. If you’re a painter, paint on them. If you are a photographer, you can adhere your photos to them. If you’re a sculptor, sculpt right on the wood piece. Whatever you choose to do, please make sure it’s your original art and be sure to keep it family friendly. When you return your art to the either of the drop off locations, please feel free to attach a tag or your business card with info about your piece, your contact information and encouraging people to take one home!

Artist Information

We are looking for participation from any and all local artists, art entities and art related business.
When you drop off your work, please email us with an image of each piece, as well as artists name, medium, and title of each piece OR submit the form to the right. We will also need any other additional contact information you would like associated with your work, web site address, email contact, web store link, Facebook page, etc. Each artist will have their work displayed online in the gallery with these photos and links in order to promote not only the event but the artists themselves. |

What's in it for the artist?
We plan on heavily promoting this event via Facebook and local press. This is a fantastic way to promote your business, web site, web store, Facebook page, etc. This is a chance at exposing your art to folks who might not normally get exposure to your work. And, you go away with the satisfying knowledge that you’ve most certainly improved the home décor of countless individuals in the Enid area! Art will be on display at the Main Street Enid office till the day of the event, April 3rd.
