Keep Enid Beautiful a program of Main Street Enid
Keep Enid Beautiful was started in the spring of 2012 by Suzy Meibergen with the goal of beautifying our city. She worked tirelessly to make that happen. The biggest contribution has been in Enid’s downtown that went from weed-filled disarray to gloriously planted corners. We will forever be grateful for all that Suzy did to beautify Enid.
Recently, Keep Enid Beautiful as a 501(c)(3) non-profit has dissolved and Main Street Enid, Inc. has absorbed the efforts of Keep Enid Beautiful into a program under our Design Committee. We will continue the mission of Keep Enid Beautiful in our Downtown District.
Keep Enid Beautiful (KEB) is a certified affiliate of Keep Oklahoma Beautiful, who is part of the national organization Keep America Beautiful. The success of Keep Enid Beautiful relies on the support of Enid businesses and people like you. Main Street Enid is a non-profit organization that relies on donations and sponsorships as well as private and public partnerships for support.
The Point of Pride program will allow KEB to establish and maintain beautification efforts in Enid’s downtown square. Several corners have already been planted with more still to come.
Sponsorship levels: Each level covers the cost of planting twice a year (Spring and Fall) and maintenance year-round. KEB will adorn an adopted corner with a decorative sign acknowledging your gift and support, if desired and allowed.
