Many of you know that this will be a very difficult time for small businesses around the country. As a community, we must do our best to support these small businesses that have made Enid what it is today. Not only downtown, but Enid as a whole would not be the same without your favorite shop, restaurant or business. This is why it is so important to take a few extra steps to shop local. If you aren’t feeling well or feel uneasy about going out, follow these tips on shopping local from the comfort of your home: 
  1. Buy a gift card to use later or online
  2. Shop locally online - if a business does not have an online store, make an order over the phone.
  3. Order takeout/to go - many Enid restaurants are now on Instagrub, Grubhub, Postmates or Doordash.
  4. Send flowers to a friend
  5. Keep you membership current - most places rely on your dues to operate 
  6. If you know a business owner - ask them how you can help

  • CDSA will be open at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 4th with a skeleton crew in order to begin taking applications for City of Enid Covid-19 relief funds. We will not formally have the funds until probably Tuesday.
  • We respectfully request that all people coming to the Nonprofit Center wear a mask to protect our employees from potential exposure. This courtesy will be appreciated by all those who work at CDSA and all those we serve.
  • Diaper Bank: Call us at 242-6131 to arrange a curbside diaper pick up in back alley entrance (look for the green awning)
  • Emergency Assistance: Our case managers are available to take your call.
  • Housing: Call for emergency assistance or affordable rentals. The weatherization program is currently on hold.
  • Rx for Oklahoma: still processing applications for long-term prescription assistance.
  • Child Care Resources & Referrals: staff is working closely with child care providers to help them stay open.
