The First Presbyterian Church of Enid
As one of the very first churches established after the Cherokee Strip Land Run in 1893, The First Presbyterian has served Enid and the world for over 125 years with beautiful worship, Christian education, and community building and outreach.
The First Presbyterian mission is to:
Faithfully worship God,
Prepare people to follow Jesus Christ,
Compassionately serve one another in love.
The First Presbyterian Church is a member of the PC(USA), the largest Presbyterian denomination in the United States. They gather to worship each Sunday and throughout the week, using ancient and modern liturgies that connect the congregation to the past and propel them into the future.
The First Presbyterian Church educates men and women to follow Jesus Christ through study and learning opportunities throughout the year!
Community Building and Outreach
Worship and Christian Education at The First Presbyterian Church culminates in service to the community and to the world. From free meals to handmade scarves displayed on the church's front lawn for any passer-by to take, the people of FPC are community-minded, working for a more peaceful, just, and loving world.
