upper floor living education
PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED!
Due to recent events and the Oklahoma Main Street going to all online training this year, we will be rescheduling this event for next year. Join us for an educational session about upper floor living and why it's important for downtown communities. Josh Kunkel, Oklahoma Main Street and METHOD Architect, will have a presentation on how upper floor living is possible, the impact it has on communities, how to invest and what the process looks like. The presentation will be on an unfinished upper floor space in downtown Enid and will include renderings and mockups of what the space could look like. Following the presentation, we will have a Q/A session with a commercial lender and communities that have successfully implemented upper floor living. There will be a break for lunch on your own at one of our great restaurants downtown, followed by tours of finished and unfinished upper floors. This session will be from 10:00am-3:30pm and will take place at the Stride Bank Center Fourth Floor Meeting Room. The session is FREE and open to the public, but we do ask that you RSVP below. Please email Main Street Enid Director, Natalie Beurlot for more information: natalie@mainstreetenid.org Made possible by: Oklahoma Main Street Center, Oklahoma Department of Commerce, Visit Enid & METHOD Group. |
*Please note that we will be climbing stairs and walking through unfinished upper floors. Wear shoes that are comfortable and you don't mind getting a little dust on. Because these spaces are unfinished, most upper floors will not have elevator access. Please contact natalie@mainstreetenid.org if you are unable to climb stairs but would still like to attend. We will do our best to accommodate and have pictures available of the spaces.
